The outrages of the former Minister of Environment and Water Borislav Sandov and his deputy Toma Belev, head of the National Council for

biodiversity, are beginning to come to light in a series on Narod.bg.

An informant from the Ministry of the Environment and Waters (MoEW) provided the editors with documents from which it is clear how double financing of projects is done - once with money from the budget, and the second time with cash from Europe.

Sandov and Belev, labeled as "green terrorists", are behind the schemes.

The "concerned" about our nature "eco-activists" recently shone in a nasty shoot - the two have signed a shot of the wild goats protected by law in "Devin" hunting farm.

According to the information, there were three animals killed - two males and one female.

One male specimen was captured and shot by the German hunter Wolfgang Jorden, who arrived in Bulgaria on December 5, 2022.

"For 2022, in connection with the minutes of the meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group approved by Minister Borislav Sandov, 6 permits for exemptions have been issued to 6 farms for the use of a total of 28 units. wild goats.

The permits were issued by Deputy Minister Toma Belev as the authorized person for issuing permits for exceptions for protected species," the Ministry of Education and Culture confirmed the absurdity.

According to the documents, in the period June-August 2022, shortly before the power passed into the hands of acting Prime Minister Galab Donev after the fall of the Kirill Petkov cabinet, the Minister of Environment and Water Borislav Sandov concluded several agreements with scientific institutes and units of the BAS for the award of scientific consultations pursuant to ministerial decree No. 3 of January 10, 2020 on the creation and functioning of a mechanism for the assignment and implementation of scientific consultations by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Of particular concern is the Agreement D-33-19 of July 8, 2022 between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the National Museum of Natural History (NPM), by which the museum is assigned consultation and assistance in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data on types of natural habitats and species for the purposes of the National

system for monitoring the state of biological diversity (NSMSBR) and the policy for the protection of biological diversity worth, note - 4,191,940 BGN!

At first reading, several valid questions arise:

1. Is the concluded agreement legal?

2. What exactly was more than BGN 4 million spent on?

3. Who certified that anything was done at all?

4. Whether the "perfect work" is not duplicated with already funded by the EU activities?

5. Whether the money did not go to political support instead of any scientific work?
