The Vice Premier and Minister of Environment and Water Borislav Sandov who sees himself as one of the greatest warriors for clean air rarely gets off his posh Audi A8. Today the car of the National Service for Protection (NSP) drove Sandov to the National Assembly and after the parliamentary control in which he participated it awaited him at the back entrance of the building to take him back. The Vice Premier offered the excuse that the NSP car had been used for an official visit. Well, today there are no official visits and the building of the Ministry of Environment and Water is 15 minutes away by foot from the National Assembly. The Minister of Environment however seems to have forgotten his promise to walk and uses the fancy NSP car for any trip.

Shortly after Sandov became Vice Premier and Minister of Environment, he declared in front of the media that he would continue to go to work by foot, as usual. Then the “green fighter” for clean air even stated, that he had found other means for transportation between the institutions different from a car. Unless he proves that the posh A8 that burns at least 10 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers is a scooter, we do not see how he will find an excuse for his lies.
