Those who fight for the health of the yellow-feathered curlew-burlew and whatever-it-is kestrel are actually working against our interest, stated Angel Dzhambazki.

Angel Dzhambazki, Member of the European Parliament, condemned the petition submitted to the EP to stop the construction of the section of the Struma Motorway in the Kresna Gorge. “A group of extortionists, unfortunately with Bulgarian citizenship, masked as “green” organizations that are in fact green Talibans, are trying to stop the construction of the highway in the gorge because they have a different project in mind. They work for foreign interests. They are trying to bring about a different project connected to digging a tunnel. This is their Swiss connection and their grant interest. They are now attempting to pass this petition in the European Parliament to prevent Bulgaria from finishing the Struma Motorway. This is against our national interest. The calculation is very simple: if their claim is upheld, every Bulgarian family will have to pay about 2000 – 3000 BGN to compensate for the expenses. This calculation is based on the funds spent until now and the money that will be invested to finish the motorway construction. If the European funding stops, we will have to give back the money for what has been built until now and pay for the remaining work on the construction of the motorway. I am not a specialist in construction, but according to the information I have been given, each Bulgarian family will have to save about 3000 BGN for this operation,” said Dzhambazki in the TV show Plus Minus on Nova Television. “Unfortunately, there are Bulgarian colleagues who advocate for them. The voting will be next week. There will be Bulgarians who will vote against the national interest. Then we will know the names of the representatives who vote in support and against this initiative. Decide for yourself whether Sofia and Thessaloniki should be connected. Should there be a connection between Sofia and Vidin, Thessaloniki and Lom? Because this is the fastest route for the Chinese cargo: from Thessaloniki to Lom, to Vidin and then, along the river, to all European countries. The highway will improve our infrastructure, create jobs, save lives in the gorge. Those who fight for the health of the yellow-feathered curlew-burlew and whatever-it-is kestrel are actually working against our interest. These are the “green” terrorists, “green” racketeers, “green” extortionists. They are in the way of the development of Bansko and Vitosha. They work for foreign interests, be it German, Swiss or Greek,” stated Dzhambazki. Blitz.bg Bulgarian “green terrorists” with Swiss connections charge every Bulgarian family with at least 3000 BGN
